
Capital B Buys 376 Bitcoin for $29.4 Million, Bringing Holdings to 3,521 BTC
Capital B has purchased another 376 Bitcoin for €25.3 million, or approximately $29.4 million, in its largest Bitcoin acquisition in about a year. The latest purchase brings the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 3,521 BTC.
The purchase was announced on September 7, 2026, as Capital B continues to expand its Bitcoin treasury strategy.
Capital B adds 376 BTC
According to Capital B’s announcement, the company acquired 376 BTC for €25.3 million. Following the transaction, Capital B and its Luxembourg subsidiary now hold a combined 3,521 BTC.
The company’s total acquisition cost for its Bitcoin holdings is approximately €309.4 million, with an average acquisition price of about €87,878 per Bitcoin.
The latest purchase is particularly notable because it represents Capital B’s largest Bitcoin acquisition since September 2025, when the company purchased 551 BTC.
How did Capital B fund the purchase?
Capital B said the Bitcoin purchase was supported by recently completed capital raises.
The company completed capital increases totaling €28.7 million through a private placement, alongside another €1.44 million raised through an ATM-style capital increase arrangement with TOBAM. Strategic and institutional investors participated in the financing.
Among the investors was Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream, who invested €7.6 million in Capital B as part of the company’s financing activities.
Capital B’s Bitcoin strategy
Capital B has positioned itself as a European Bitcoin Treasury Company.
The company’s strategy is focused on increasing the amount of Bitcoin held per share over time. Capital B says it intends to use capital-market financing and other financial tools to continue accumulating Bitcoin.
