BitFuFu’s Bitcoin production jumped 55.4% month over month to 174 BTC in August 2026, marking a sharp rebound from the 112 BTC produced in July. The Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company reported the increase alongside a major expansion in the computing power it manages, with total hashrate rising 45.1% to 20.6 exahashes per second (EH/s) from 14.2 EH/s in July. Average daily Bitcoin production also increased to 5.6 BTC from 3.6 BTC, highlighting the impact of the additional mining capacity that came online during the month. BitFuFu said the additional hashrate capacity secured in June and July contributed to the stronger August operating performance.
The August production total was split between BitFuFu’s self-mining and cloud-mining operations. Self-mining contributed 88 BTC, compared with 72 BTC in July, while cloud mining produced 86 BTC, more than doubling from 40 BTC the previous month. BitFuFu’s self-owned hashrate increased 5.6% to 3.8 EH/s, while hashrate from third-party suppliers and hosting customers climbed 58.5% to 16.8 EH/s. The company also reported an improvement in average fleet efficiency, which reached 16.7 joules per terahash (J/TH), compared with 18.0 J/TH in July. Total power capacity under management expanded 34.9% to 344 megawatts from 255 megawatts.
The stronger production figures also lifted BitFuFu’s Bitcoin holdings to 1,373 BTC at the end of August, compared with 1,314 BTC at the end of July. The company said the increase reflected improved Bitcoin production and operating performance following the deployment of additional hashrate capacity. However, the production figure should be viewed in the context of BitFuFu’s broader business model because the 174 BTC total includes both self-mining and cloud-mining production. The combination of higher managed hashrate, increased Bitcoin output and improved fleet efficiency gives investors several operating metrics to monitor as the company enters the next month. If the expanded capacity remains productive, BitFuFu’s future monthly results could provide a clearer indication of how effectively the larger mining platform is being utilized.
